Queer Britain Art Award 2026 is an international open call celebrating art that engages with LGBTQ+ culture, community, and history. Returning for its fifth year, the award welcomes submissions in visual arts, photography, new media, film, video, and craft practices. Up to 80 shortlisted works will be exhibited in London in December 2026, with three cash prizes awarded.

Eligibility
Artists, designers, and makers, amateur and professional
UK and international applicants
Age 18 and over
Individuals, collectives, and artist representatives (galleries, institutions) are eligible
Works must have been produced within the last 5 years
Acceptable media: 2D and 3D works (painting, sculpture, ceramics, textiles, photography, digital art, etc.), film/video, performance, and craft practices
Physical works max 2.4 meters in any dimension; video/performance max 10 minutes runtime; video delivery as MP4; multi-component works judged as single artwork
