The Lucie Foundation supports professional and emerging photographers worldwide through four cash grants and prizes. The program seeks to challenge and progress the art form of still photography across Fine Art, Documentary, and Photojournalism, supporting work that is gripping and original.
What selected participants may receive
Cash prizes ranging from $1,000 to $3,000
Sony Camera and Lens for the Photojournalism/Documentary Emerging category winner
Participation in a group exhibition traveling to House of Lucie Galleries worldwide, including Los Angeles, Athens, Budapest, Ostuni, and Samui
Eligibility
Open to professional and emerging photographers 18 years and older worldwide
Professional" defined as any photographer earning the majority of their income from photography
Emerging" defined as any student, photographer in the first five years of their career, or not earning the majority of their income from photography
Fees
Application fee: Professional category $25 per submission; Emerging category $15 per submission
