Overview

The program supports technology and music installations, public and interactive art, audiovisual work, immersive sound, material experiments and live performance, ending in a multi-site public presentation.

Incentives

Eligibility

• Visual, new-media, sound and electronic-music practitioners worldwide with at least five years of independent practice.
• The opportunity is open globally; selected applicants must participate full-time in Beijing.

Fees

• No application fee; the listed support covers travel, accommodation, meals, studio access, materials, equipment and production.

Key dates

• Application deadline: 2026-09-20.
• The full-time program runs from mid-October to mid-December 2026, with public presentation beginning 20 December.

Application materials

• CV and portfolio with representative work from the last three years, plus a preliminary concept, plan, budget and residency schedule.

Additional notes

• Art District, Beijing, China. Full-time physical participation in Beijing is required for approximately two months.
